We are a family of four who are searching to connect and learn in a more natural format for us, discovery and adventure instead of the brick-and-mortar approach.
Until now, we have raised our children in the typical North American way, but we feel that we are losing an opportunity to expose our children to the many different forms of life worldwide.
Our children, six and four, are little sponges; this feels like the right time to start our journey. Of course, it will have challenges, but we think the risk is worth the reward.
We plan to do part by road and partly through our Airbnb and home-share community.
As we prepare for our trip, we will share how we have decided on the best gear, equipment, locations, schooling and whatever else we discover.
